Gyrocom host successful "VMware NSX and VIO Lunch & Learn" seminar, April 2015.
Following on from the success of their first event, Gyrocom and VMware invited the enterprise to understand the benefits of an end-to-end Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) at their "VMware NSX and VIO Lunch & Learn" seminar on Thursday 30th April, hosted at VMware's London offices.
The SDDC is the hottest trend in the industry and VMware is leading the charge with NSX and their new OpenStack offering: VIO (VMware Integrated OpenStack). Gyrocom was one of the first UK VMware Partners to achieve the Network Virtualisation Competency and are the only company in the UK to have taken part in the VIO Beta Trial.
The informal technical session, ran by VMware Solution Architects, provided attendees with an understanding of how VMware NSX could bring virtualisation to their existing networks and transform network security, operations and economics.
The event also provided the technical audience with a first look into VMware Integrated OpenStack (released March 2015) which facilitates the enterprise to leverage the business benefits of OpenStack without needing an OpenStack PHD.
